During the COVID-19 pandemic (also known as the coronavirus pandemic) we all have to change the way we live. But how does the pandemic influence the way we work?
Since the IT industry is the carrier of the digital transformation, we can profit of all its benefits:
Three days after the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared a pandemic on 11 March, we sent all our employees, both in Berlin and Novi Sad office, in the home office in order to protect them and their families in the best possible way. Our processes stayed the same. The only thing that had to change is that face-to-face meetings were now completely replaced with virtual meetings / video calls. The biggest challenge was having kids around in home and working productively on our tasks. But we mastered that one too. In families where both parents work we introduced shifts so that one parent could work in the morning and the other one in the afternoon.
Since our offices are now empty we used the occasion and redecorated them so that we all can enjoy working even more when we return back to them.
We wish all our colleagues and customers good health and enough energy to overcome this pandemic.
